Important
Textify uses on-device text recognition via Google ML Kit (google_mlkit_text_recognition package). The text extraction happens entirely on the user's device using ML Kit's OCR (Optical Character Recognition) engine - it doesn't require an internet connection or send images to any server. The processing is done locally using the device's CPU/GPU.
At present, Textify can extract LATIN-based text ONLY. We are actively working on adding support for more languages in upcoming updates.
