Your dating chats, reviewed like chess games.

Upload screenshots of a conversation and Texting Theory analyzes every message like a grandmaster analyzing a match. Each move gets a rating, Brilliant, Great, Best, Excellent, Good, Book, Inaccuracy, Mistake, Miss, or Blunder, plus a Blue ELO score for your side of the board, an accuracy breakdown, an advantage graph, and a game name you didn't ask for ("The Beast-Hand Opening — Weird Country Deflection").

Then comes the roast. A post-game verdict written by a coach who has seen your messages and is disappointed in you specifically.

HOW IT WORKS
• Screenshot a conversation (any messaging app)
• Upload one or more screenshots, order doesn't matter, we sort it out
• Get the full game review: move-by-move ratings, ELO, accuracy, eval graph
• Step through every move with an explanation of what it did to your position
• Ask for better alternatives when a move goes wrong

THE LEADERBOARD
Save a review to publish it and see where it ranks against every other conversation that survived analysis. Climb from Certified Patzer to Unbeatable (allegedly). Comment on other people's games. Regret your own.

PRIVATE BY DEFAULT
Nothing goes public unless you save it. Screenshots are processed for analysis and not stored on our servers, only the reviews you choose to save are kept, and you can delete any game or your whole account, in the app, anytime.

Texting Theory is entertainment. The ELO is a joke. The roast is a joke. Your last text, however, really was an Inaccuracy.

What’s new

First public release. Upload a chat, get every message rated Brilliant to Blunder with a Blue ELO, an eval graph and a roast. Save games to the public leaderboard, comment on other people's games, and delete anything — or your whole account — in the app.
