Ratings and reviews

It does what it needs to. We are able to text people. But you have to clear the app totally out each time you use it or else it gets stuck on create a message with a # i dont even know. There are times it spins on the text message list unless you totally clear the app out. The mobile version totally needs some work. I hope they can fix it this year. Im happy to be a tester if needed.

This app just got a whole lot better. The layout looks more professional and I love that I can now start conversations from my phone. Text Request has been a benefit for our business. The desktop version is great for an office manger or assistant, and now the mobile app relieves some of the burden from stepping away from the desk.

It is slow to load, if it loads at all. Then, half the time, the message errors out and does not go through. The phone app 1 star. The desktop app is better at 4 start.

What’s new

Introducing Receptionist — Receptionist offers three options for handling callers to your text-only number and can be found under Settings.

Voice Greeting is now Automated Greeting — Voice Greeting has been renamed to Automated Greeting to hopefully clear up any confusion. Automated Greeting is one of three options under Receptionist and functions exactly like Voice Greeting.

Call Forwarding — This new feature for text-only numbers can be added to any existing plan.
