TextSnap turns anything with writing on it into text you can copy, edit, translate, share or save.

Take a photo or pick an image from your gallery. TextSnap reads the text directly on your device — nothing is uploaded to our servers — and shows the result two ways: laid out over the original image so you can see where each line came from, or as plain text you can select and copy.

**What you can do**
- Extract text from photos, screenshots, receipts, notes, documents, signs and labels
- Read dense pages accurately: large images are scanned in overlapping sections so small print is not missed
- See the result in Layout view, positioned like the original, or in Text view
- Select part of the text, or copy all of it with one tap
- Translate the result into English, Turkish, German, French, Spanish, Italian, Arabic or Russian — on your device, offline after the first download
- Edit the text and clean it up: collapse spaces, join lines, trim blank lines
- Save as a TXT or PDF file, or share it through any app
- Scan QR codes and barcodes, and create your own QR code to share as an image
- Keep your recent scans on the device and reopen them any time

Open the app and start scanning. There is no login, no registration and no profile.

**Your images stay on your phone**
Text recognition runs entirely on your device using Google ML Kit. TextSnap does not upload your photos or the text it extracts.

TextSnap is available in English, Turkish, German, French, Spanish, Italian, Arabic and Russian, and follows your phone's light or dark theme.
