About this app

Field map is a mobile app for documenting species observations directly in the field, of course even without a connection.
You can use your own maps or download from e.g. Skogsmonitor.se.
When you are finished, export directly to the Species Portal or to your computer. No additional conversion is needed.

Features
Easy registration: Quick form with species suggestions. Type e.g. bl and select Glossvart spiklav.
Own maps: Import any number of GeoTIFFs.
GPS: Adjustable GPS frequency and optional background positioning mean that the app maintains contact with the satellites even when the screen is off
Images: Images are named with species and time, which makes it easier to export to the Species Portal or when you want to make a report.
Polygons: Import or draw your own inventory areas.

GeoJSON: For QGIS
ZIP: Export a compressed zip file with map + data + images and send it to your computer.

Extra
Complete with and save your own species suggestions.
Brief species info on selected species.
