About this app

THIS APPLICATION DOES NOT REPRESENT ANY GOVERNMENT ENTITY AND IS NOT AFFILIATED WITH ANY GOVERNMENT AGENCY. THE INFORMATION PROVIDED IS DETERMINED IN COMPLIANCE WITH ARTICLE 2120 OF THE CIVIL CODE (https://www.gazzettaufficiale.it/atto/serie_generale/caricaArticolo?art.progressivo=0&art.idArticolo=2120&art.versione=5&art.codiceRedazionale=042U0262&art.dataPubblicazioneGazzetta=1942-04-04&art.idGruppo=267&art.idSottoArticolo1=10&art.idSottoArticolo=1&art.flagTipoArticolo=2) AS AMENDED BY LAW 297/1982 (https://www.gazzettaufficiale.it/atto/serie_generale/caricaArticolo?art.progressivo=0&art.idArticolo=2&art.versione=1&art.codiceRedazionale=05A09474&art.dataPubblicazioneGazzetta=2005-10-05&art.idGruppo=0&art.idSottoArticolo1=10&art.idSottoArticolo=1&art.flagTipoArticolo=0).
The application allows you to calculate the TFR (Termination Pay) net of current taxes, or the "clean" amount that the employer must pay to the employee upon termination of the employment relationship.
Simply enter a few essential data to quickly obtain the amount.
The essential information to be provided is:
- Hiring Date
- Severance Pay accrued and left with the Company
- Severance Pay accrued and paid into the Employment Fund (if applicable)
- Advances received (if used)
This data can be easily retrieved from the CU-Certificazione Unica (formerly CUD) issued annually by the employer.
Helpful notations under each field help you understand which CU box the required information should be extracted from.
Since it is possible to calculate the Severance Pay at a Reference Date entered by the user, the only precaution required is to retrieve the information from the CU valid for the Reference Date entered.
For example: if April 18, 2008, is entered as the Reference Date, the data must be retrieved from the 2008 CUD (Income Tax Return), which certifies the emoluments received in 2007.
In addition to the "Calculate" button, there is a "Reset" button to clear the screen and enter the parameters for a new calculation.
After entering the data and pressing the "Calculate" button, the corresponding net severance pay (TFR) amount will be instantly displayed.
By clicking on the "TFR Calculation Details" tab, the user can access a series of additional information that the application calculates:
- Reductions as of December 31, 2000
- Reference income
- Total tax
- Average tax rate
- IRPEF taxable income
- Total IRPEF
This application is also very useful for verifying whether the calculations made by the employer upon termination of the employment relationship are accurate.
In this case, it is also possible to enter the information regarding the post-2000 revaluation and the severance pay set aside in the current year (directly from the provided form). Otherwise, these are calculated by the system assuming an average salary progression and an annual revaluation of 1.5%.
