TfWM-IQ enables the company to calculate the carbon footprint of all asphalt surfacing and surface dressing works. When used in conjunction with Asphalt-IQ's digital smartcards. TfWM-IQ enables fast, accurate carbon calculation of all activities associated with surfacing and road surface dressing. Its unique, GPS enabled, distance tracking system allows for accurate , multi-site carbon accounting which delivers a fully auditable carbon record. Traditional asphalt carbon calculation tools are very complex and there is no single international standard model. TfWM-IQ's Calculator is designed to be the quickest and simplest method of evaluating the emissions from asphalt surfacing and road surface dressing activities. The carbon emissions data and calculation algorithms used in TfWM-IQ are sourced from domestically recognised road infrastructure carbon calculation tools. Asphalt-IQ has aggregated the data into convenient, relevant, emissions categories and uses standard statistical analysis principles to present the carbon emissions total.
