The application is designed to promote organic farming practices, encourage direct farmer-to-consumer interaction, and support farmers by providing improved market access without the involvement of intermediaries or middlemen.
To access the services of the application, consumers are required to complete a one-time registration process using their mobile number, followed by OTP-based authentication for secure login and access. Once registered, consumers can browse and explore various categories of certified organic crops and products available through the platform.
The application allows consumers to search and filter products based on crop category, crop type, and farm location. Consumers can directly contact certified organic farmers through the contact options provided within the application, enabling transparent communication and direct trade between farmers and consumers.
In addition, the platform provides map-based access to the certified farm locations, allowing consumers to visit the farms and verify the authenticity and originality of the organic cultivation practices. This feature enhances transparency and builds trust between consumers and certified organic farmers.
Only farmers certified by the Telangana State Seeds Certification Agency are included in the application database. The platform displays certification-related information, including valid certification details, registration numbers, and crops cultivated by the certified farmers. Consumers can also view certification validity and related crop information to ensure that the products and farmers listed on the platform are officially certified under the applicable organic certification standards.
The TG Organics platform is developed to strengthen the organic farming ecosystem, improve accessibility to certified organic products, and provide consumers with reliable information regarding certified organic cultivation across the State of Telangana.
