Ratings and reviews

The Bulwark is great for articles and videos. This app needs some work in the realm of video playback though. Fullscreen videos scale poorly on my device and most of it gets cut off. Video playback with the screen off would also be nice. (sometimes I need to put the phone in my pocket for a couple minutes and would like to not need to jump over to the Substack app to keep listening) The video download also does not appear to work. Access to video comments appears to be nonexistent.

HUGE gain over Substack! I hate the unnavigable Substack app with the fire of a thousand suns and was considering giving up my Bulwark+ subscription because of the frustrations. Just set up all my preferences in this new Bulwark app and everything worked well! Notifications, feed, viewing videos. I was having to find the Bulwark content scattered all over on Amazon podcasts, YouTube podcasts, the website, etc. because Substack is so horrible. But now it's all in one place and easy to organize!!!

The Bulwark group has kept me sane for the last 10 years and they finally got their own app. I've listened and watched them on Substack for the last several years and I wish this app had some of the same tools Substack has, in particular the ability to archive and make disappear a show that I've seen or listened to...or maybe I just haven't figured that out yet. They put out an enormous amount of content, I don't typically watch them in order so sometimes don't remember what I've already watched
