Confused, laggy, and is it necessary? I've accepted the permissions, rebooted, and the interface is as simple as it should be just for a scan. Doesn't work at all. If it doesn't scan or not, can it at least tell me if it's not authentic too? now I'm second guessing myself if it isn't real and cant really return these once the seal is open. provide a report link too?

It's pretty difficult to get an image that the app is satisfied with to begin with. Once I have, it gives me two options. "Rescan" or "Capture". rescan you have to try to get another image. Capture saves it somewhere, but nothing else happens. no more progress. wth?

Terrible execution, asking a customer to scan a random QR code from a suspected counterfeit product which leads them to an app NOT distributed by Samsung themselves raises so many questions and exposes their customers to heightened risks. Samsung needs to remove this "tool" and go back to something that won't potentially compromise its customers' phones. This is a needless app that would only be used every 3 months or so, completely unnecessary and unacceptable business practices.
