If you're having issues connecting for the first time please search Google on how to clear your Bluetooth Cache. Clear cache and try connecting again.

FINALLY I can use my phone for my 6K Pro. The Blackmagic App doesn't work on my S21 Ultra. This one didn't work at first either, but then I cleared my Bluetooth cache on my phone and it suddenly connected. It's not perfect. Some settings, like codec, can't be changed properly. But aperture, ISO etc seem to work so far. But the biggie for me is just to know the camera is still recording when it's remote on a multicam shoot, and all of the record functions work. Best $1.99 I ever spent.

Otherwise works pretty great except 1. It wasn't connecting so I assumed you should connect from android BT connections. After that the app didn't connect. I had to "forget" the pairing and connect in the app, then it worked. 2. App layout doesn't adjust if you have navigation buttons instead of gestures. Bottom elements are partly behind the buttons. 3. If I lock my phone, it disconnects in a minute or two, and then I have to connect in the app again. But this could be a limitation of Android.

Got it working and it will be a great help. Just a couple of things: the focus control doesn't respond reliably and I often end up switching to a different page when dragging the wheel. Please make it really obvious where a user is supposed to drag from. I don't see a way to name clips. And there seems no way to change to pro res. Finally, shutter angle is available but I prefer shutter speed setting. can you allow option or show both at once? Thanks. I'm using blackmagic design pocket 6k.
