Is TrainKothai an official train tracking app in BD?
In Bangladesh, there is no official app or website that shows a train's current location. You can check the location using SMS, but it costs you ~5 TK per message. TrainKothai is here to fix that. Whether you use our website or our app, you can easily see the exact train location in real-time.

Is TrainKothai train tracking free?
Yes, TrainKothai is a 100% free app to track live train locations in Bangladesh. There’s no sign-up and no charges; track your train, check delays, and search routes at no cost.

How does TrainKothai track trains?
TrainKothai is powered by passengers helping each other out! When you open the app on the train tracking page, you will see an option called I'm on the train. When passengers are on the train, they turn this on so that we can show the train's live location, speed, and delay to that person and to others. Our system safely checks your location to confirm you are actually on that specific train. Once we know it's completely accurate, we update the train's live location on our app and website. Don't worry, your privacy is completely safe. We only use this data to pinpoint the train, helping everyone else know exactly where the train is and if there is any delay!

How many train locations can I see from the app?
We cover almost all of the trains running in BD. If somehow we missed any, just let us know, and we will add it shortly. Usually, during peak times, we track more than 50 trains live, which is massive for us. Ratings and reviews

App of the decade! Some suggestions: 1. Add the feature to pin a train so it's status is on the homepage and also in the notification. 2. Similarly let users pin a station (u already have user's location), then show the list of trains that will go through that station that day.

This is a very useful and well-functioning app. However, after reaching the destination, the app does not clearly show that the destination has been completed. It also does not indicate how much time it may take before the next destination can be started. I hope these features will be added soon to make the app more convenient and user-friendly.

Fabulous work. I really love this app. It's really informative with an easy and simple user experience, provides almost 100% accurate realtime tracking data. Though it still needs some more improvements. Overall, it deserves five stars. Thank you!
