Content great, but app doesn't work for me. Appears to be some kind of clumsy skin over a website; opens a browser window for login, which logs me in as a paid subscriber, but somehow this doesn't suffice for the app, which continues to treat me as a free user, while a picture in picture browser window remains open above the app. 🤷‍♂️ I enjoy the content, been a subscribe for a good while. Wish the app functioned. Uninstalled.

The podcast player needs improvement. The main problem is that it won't play if the screen is off or if the app is in the background, which wastes my battery and prevents me from looking at something else while listening.

Writers and articles here are high quality, thought stimulating, and will educate you. Essays are carefully written by excellent thinkers and can leave you a bit wiser. They are not written to generate clicks but to educate and leave you with a deeper perspective of whatever the topic is. I appreciate the effort made to curate the variety of topics and frames-of-reference. It delivers a spectum of views politically, culturally, and academically.
