What is Whole?

Whole helps improve your mental health and wellness by training your behavior in ways scientifically shown to improve mental wellbeing. All of Whole’s features come together in a personalized diary screen and the app includes a robust set of stats to provide you with insights on your mental health and the factors that contribute to it.

How does Whole work?

Whole is free to use, with some upgraded features available only to premium subscribers. While there is a subscription option, users can enjoy most of the app’s key features for free. I can't do anything in the app because it wants me to set up an account (fine). But then when I try to link to my Gmail nothing happens, a little black bar drops down the screen and nothing. I can't even get to a support link in the app to report the bug. Honestly I just wanted to find out if Happy Broadcast still does a newsletter because trying to sign up for it also has error messages. How unfortunate. Broken app, deleting it.

I had a bit of a learning curve, hence the 4 stars. a more extensive tutorial might have helped. overall, I think the app is fantastic. Being able to set reminders in the form of push notifications is awesome. I have not tried the premium version, but the free version has plenty of terrific features. i like the time tracker that holds me accountable for checking in daily and keeps track of runs. Overall, I think it's a great little app that could add positivity to my days.

I want to like it, like a lot. But it keeps closing on me when I try to set reminders, I couldn't attach my Google profile to my account, and I can't get rid of old habits and make my own custom habits (everytime I hit the X it just opens the habits and doesn't clear it). This app is such a good idea but it just doesn't function correctly. I will continue to try it, as I am trying the free trial, and see if I enjoy the app enough for it to outweigh the bugs but for now I'm disappointed.
