The sky broke a long time ago.
What came down that day burned the forests, cracked the hills and
emptied the world of almost everything that flew. Almost. One dragon
is still up there, still beating her wings against a sky that has not
stopped falling.
She is yours to name, and yours to keep alive.
HOW IT PLAYS
Touch anywhere on the screen and hold. Your thumb becomes the reins —
drag in any direction and she follows, heavy and unhurried, the way
something that large actually moves. Let go and she settles.
Below her the land rolls past: jungle canopy, open grass, rock and
clearing. Above her, meteors come in low and fast from the east,
streaking across her path before slamming into the ground. Where they
land, the earth opens and burns. Miss the meteor and you still have
to clear the fire it leaves behind.
That is the whole game. There is nothing to collect, nothing to
upgrade, nothing to read. Just a dragon, a sky that wants her down,
and how long you can keep her up.
A HUNDRED LEVELS, AND A WALL SOMEWHERE IN THEM
Level one is slow enough to learn on. A handful of meteors, a wide
sky, time to think.
It does not stay that way. Every twenty seconds the sky quickens.
Every level starts faster than the one before it and packs more into
the same two minutes. By level thirty you are reading the whole
screen at once. By level sixty the gaps close faster than most people
can move.
The hundredth level exists. Whether anyone reaches it is a different
question.
WHAT YOU FLY WITH
She starts each level with a thousand health. A meteor strike costs a
hundred. Flying over open lava costs fifty. Clear the level with more
left and your score stands higher — surviving is not the same as
surviving well.
Fall, and you can take the level again. Walk away, and you start from
the beginning.
BUILT FOR ONE HAND
Portrait, one thumb, no account, no sign-in, nothing to set up. Open
it and fly. It works with no connection at all, so it is as happy on
a metro platform as anywhere else.
Your dragon is named once. Whatever you choose, she carries it for
every flight after.
The last of them is still airborne. Keep her there.
The last dragon alive. Fly her through the meteor storm that ended the world.
