About this app
Identify any cigar from its band. The Leaf Cellar is a cigar scanner, humidor tracker, and tasting journal for adults who keep a private record of their collection.
Point your camera at a cigar band and get an answer in seconds: brand, line, wrapper, binder, filler, origin, strength, flavor notes, and background on the blend. Save the result to your humidor inventory or your tasting journal without typing it out by hand.
A CIGAR SCANNER THAT DOES NOT STOP AT A DATABASE
Most cigar apps can only identify what is already in their catalog, and return nothing when they miss. The Leaf Cellar researches cigars it has not catalogued before, so boutique, small-batch, and regional releases come back with a real reference profile instead of a dead end. When the evidence is not strong enough to be certain, it says so plainly instead of guessing.
Try it free — three scans, no account required.
HUMIDOR TRACKER
Keep an accurate inventory without opening the lid. Track quantities across multiple humidors, record purchase dates and what you paid, follow aging time, and log humidity and temperature readings over time. Low-stock reminders tell you when your records show a box running down.
CIGAR JOURNAL
Keep a tasting record worth having. Score aroma, flavor, draw, burn, and construction, add your own notes, and search everything you have logged. Any scan becomes a journal entry in one tap, so the record actually gets written.
FLAVOR AND PAIRING REFERENCE
Each profile carries reference notes on the blend's flavor characteristics, along with the coffee, espresso, and spirits commonly cited alongside it in tasting literature.
COMPARE SIMILAR CIGARS
Look up cigars with comparable wrapper, strength, and flavor characteristics to ones already in your records — useful for placing an unfamiliar band or understanding how two blends differ.
CIGAR LOUNGES
Find cigar lounges and cigar bars near you and save the ones worth remembering. Results are venues with seating; retail-only shops are filtered out. Listings open in your maps app for directions.
COLLECTION INSIGHTS
See the patterns in your own records: most-logged brands, typical strength range, wrapper types that recur, and how your notes have shifted over time.
SHARE YOUR RECORDS
Generate a clean, read-only view of your humidor or journal to share with a friend. No account needed to open it.
FREE AND PREMIUM
Three scans with no account at all. A free account includes five scans a month plus the full humidor and journal. Premium unlocks unlimited identification, comparisons, insights, and lounge search.
ADULTS 21+ ONLY
The Leaf Cellar is a private collection-management and record-keeping tool, intended for adults of legal smoking age (21+) where permitted by law. The app requires age verification before use. We do not sell tobacco products. The app carries no advertising and contains no storefront, retailer links, or purchase prompts. Nothing here is an inducement to use tobacco. Tobacco use is harmful and addictive.
