Maestro Music: Piano Improv

The Maestro Online Ltd

About this app

Touch the piano. You already sound wonderful.

Maestro Music turns anyone into an improviser in seconds — no wrong notes, no sheet music, no experience needed. Whether you have never touched a keyboard or you are heading for conservatoire, this is piano and music-making you learn by playing, not by reading.

Free to play. Made by musicians, for everyone.

REAL MAGIC, INSTANTLY
Touch any key and warm chords bloom underneath you — a real sampled grand piano, harmonised as you play. A child sounds musical in three seconds. So will you. It is the fastest way to fall in love with the piano and start improvising.

YOUR REAL INSTRUMENT, HEARD
The Pen Game listens to your acoustic piano or keyboard and draws your playing live, note by note, beside an improvising pen — score the film like a silent-movie pianist. Nothing else turns your ear and your instrument into a game like this.

LEARN TO IMPROVISE — AND PLAY BY EAR
Call and Answer trains your ear: hear a short musical phrase, answer it your own way at the keyboard, and hear the two joined into one. Copy, vary, answer, contrast — the four steps real improvisers use. It is ear training and creativity in one, with no sheet music in sight.

FOR EVERY LEVEL AND EVERY STYLE
From first notes to advanced playing — classical, jazz, blues, gospel and pop. Build the chords, scales, phrasing and confidence that turn a beginner into a musician who can sit at any piano and simply play. Perfect for children, adult beginners, returning players, and piano teachers looking for fresh ways to teach improvisation and musicianship.
