Do you want to save on electricity? Try PVPCApp.
PVPCApp shows the price of electricity in the regulated market (PVPC) in real time and helps you plan your electricity consumption in advance.
DESCRIPTION:
- The first three tabs show the prices of the current day, the previous day and the next day; by hours, by colors and with an interactive graph that facilitates visualization.
The prices for each day are available, except for delays by the electric operator, at 8:30 p.m. the day before. Every day, if it is not deactivated from the settings, the app will notify you by means of a notification of the availability of the prices of the following day.
- The fourth tab (Evolution), shows the minimum, average and maximum price of the last 30 days and the average price of the last 12 months.
- We can also see the daily energy prices for self-consumption surpluses if we enter the drop-down menu in the app configuration.
- Lastly, also through the configuration dropdown, we have the prices for the compensation of the gas cap that is so talked about. These prices are already included in the prices that the app shows for the regulated market, but they are added as a separate concept in the invoices of the free market contracts signed or renewed as of April 26 (RD Law 10/2022). Therefore, if you are in the free market, you will have to add this concept to the price of the kilowatt that your supplier has offered you.
As an exception, there are already some free market rates that include it in their price per kilowatt.
EXTRA FUNCTIONS:
- Activation of alarms that will show a notification at the selected time. It's as simple as pressing the gray bell in each time slot.
- Two widget sizes that you can add to your home screen to see the current price of energy, the maximum of the day, the minimum and the average at any time.
- Appliance expense calculator.
Clicking on each time slot displays a section in which you can select an appliance and the time it will be working, to obtain its cost in euros. The calculation is made taking into account the price of the hour at which it is turned on and the subsequent ones if it exceeds the hour of operation.
You can customize the list of appliances by adding, removing or modifying existing ones from the gear wheel to the right of the selection drop-down.
Try to adjust the switching on of the appliances with the highest consumption at the most economical hours of the day and you will reduce the bill at the end of the month.
