The MeatStick App is your ultimate companion for all new MeatStick products, designed to help you achieve perfectly cooked meats every time. Whether you're grilling, smoking, or roasting, The MeatStick’s wireless smart thermometer lets you monitor and control your cooking remotely, ensuring juicy, tender results with ease.

This app provides real-time updates and alerts, so you never have to worry about overcooking or undercooking your food. With recent updates to our new MeatStick products, we have removed the need for location service permissions in this app version. It's straightforward and easy to navigate, perfect for both novice and experienced cooks.

Please note that this app is exclusively for use with MeatStick products and cannot be used as a standalone app. For older Red Series devices, please download the MeatStick Red Series App, as these devices are not compatible with The MeatStick App.

This app now has a minimum requirement of Android 12 or above, due to the location service permission update. If you are using an older device, please download the MeatStick Red Series App.

Ratings and reviews

Products won't connect/ lose connection so frequently it makes product/ app unusable. Have lost connectivity between product and phone with no obstruction to line of sight while maintaining less than 30 inches between product and phone. Multiple restarts, updates, following all prompts from app/ website have not solved anything. Do not recommend. Would rate 0 stars.

When it works it's great. Unfortunately it rarely works. Every time I've used my Meat stick I've run into problems. The app won't connect, or the cloud won't connect, or the wifi bridge won't connect, or any combination of the above. Right now I'm smoking and the app is fine on an old phone. Doesn't work at all on my Pixel 6a. Why? No idea. It just glitches and crashes every 5 minutes or so. I want to love this product, but I'm having a very hard time getting there.

I was eager to use the Meat Stick for hassle-free cooking, but the app's failure to connect reliably to the wifi bridge, despite a strong wifi signal, turned it into a major frustration. The constant need to check the connection undermines its convenience and effectiveness, distracting from the cooking process. Until these issues are addressed, this gadget is more trouble than it's worth. A disappointing experience overall.
