About this app

Muster Mate is the crew companion app for The Muster App — the safety platform used by professional yacht crews worldwide.

If your vessel uses The Muster App on the bridge iPad, Muster Mate puts your personal muster information in your pocket: your duties for every emergency scenario, your abandon ship station, your role on the vessel, and instant notifications when something happens.


WHAT YOU CAN DO

• View your muster duties for every emergency scenario your vessel runs — fire, medical, security, abandon ship, anything your captain has configured.

• See your abandon ship station, your assigned liferaft or lifeboat, your station leader, and the equipment or duties assigned to you.

• Get push notifications the moment your vessel activates a muster, declares an abandon ship, or runs a drill — so you know to head straight to your station without waiting for an announcement.

• Receive notifications when a delivery arrives for you on the vessel, including a photo of the package.

• See your full crew roster — who's on board, who's on leave, and who your head of department is.

• Update your own profile, photo, and contact details so your captain always has the right information.


WHO IT'S FOR

Muster Mate is built for the professional yacht industry — captains, officers, engineers, deckhands, stewards/stewardesses, chefs, and the rest of the crew on private and charter superyachts. It's a workplace tool, not a social app.


HOW TO USE IT

1. Sign up with your name, email, and a password.
2. Enter the access code your captain gives you, OR open the invite link they send you.
3. You'll see your muster duties, abandon ship station, and the rest of your vessel's setup right away.
4. Allow notifications to receive alerts from your vessel.
