About this app

Ever stopped keeping a car log after a few weeks? Filling in every field gets tedious, and nothing reminds you when something is due. Chakeylog takes care of both. Your car's key log, all in one place.

■ One sentence is all it takes
Write something like "Engine oil change at the local shop today, paid $60 (32,000 mi)" and AI splits it into date, item, amount and mileage. Mention fuel and maintenance in one sentence and each becomes its own record, and you can check and edit everything before saving. You can still fill in the fields yourself.

■ We remind you before you forget
Even if you don't enter your mileage every time, we estimate today's mileage from how you've been driving, and the app speaks up when a replacement is near. Parts covers engine oil, brake pads and tires, and also parts replaced by months, like brake fluid. Reminders can be turned off in Settings.

■ Focused on records
Chakeylog doesn't connect you to repair shops or recommend specific parts.

■ Four kinds of records in one place
• Fuel — enter the volume and unit price and your measured fuel economy is worked out for you, from gasoline, diesel and LPG to hybrids, EVs and hydrogen cars
• Maintenance — log the parts you replaced, the shop, and the cost
• Expenses — insurance, parking, car washes and other spending that isn't maintenance
• Issues — a note like "there's a noise when I accelerate" makes it easier to explain at the shop

■ Running costs at a glance
What you spent this month, whether that is more or less than last month, and which categories it went to, drawn as graphs. Your measured fuel economy trend and next month's estimate are there too.

■ Share the car, share the records
One invite code lets the people you drive with see the same car's records. The owner decides which ones and how far back (Google sign-in required).

■ Adding a car is not a chore
Describe the car the way you would say it out loud and AI fills in details like the model name and fuel type. No photo of your own? An AI-made image can dress up the list. No car yet? Add one you are interested in as a Wishcar and preview its estimated running costs.

■ We take less of your personal data
• Photos you take yourself stay on your device and are not uploaded to our servers
• You can start right away without an account, and without a name or an email address
• Export your records to a CSV file and take them with you at any time
• Deleting your account in the app deletes your data with it (if you have ever bought Premium, only the transaction records we must keep under the applicable law are stored separately and destroyed later, and records you added to someone else's shared car stay with that car)

■ About accounts
You can use the app without an account. In that case, though, your records cannot be recovered if you change devices or uninstall the app. Link a Google account and your records follow you to a new device. You can link one later in Settings.

This app displays ads. With a Premium subscription (weekly or yearly, auto-renewing), the banner ad is not shown, you can add cars and create AI images without watching an ad, and your limits for AI features, vehicles and sharing go up.
