Sends near-daily notifications to get you to open it, even if it's not for a match, like, or anything other than nagging you. Because you can only turn all notifications off or on, and not simply turn off the marketing/attention nags and keep message notifications, like with basically all other apps, I can't justify continuous use of this Smitten app. Which is a shame, as it would have worked better than Tinder or Bumble, albeit underpopulated.

Hey there 💗
Thanks so much for sharing your feedback, we totally understand where you’re coming from. We never want our notifications to feel spammy or distracting, and we really appreciate you pointing this out. It’s something we’re actively looking into right now.

Dating apps and the "real" people on there are nothing but a scam. They charge you money to speak with people that eventually don't even want to speak to you even when matched... this platform is full of attention seeking addicts that need to find something else to do with their lifes.
