About this app

Do you remember back when getting outside was actually simple and fun? It was about playing with friends, exploring, and going on adventures. Somewhere along the way, something went terribly wrong. We got busier. More stressed. And we started scrolling more and counting steps…like it was a job. We lost the joy and wonder of playing outside.

That’s why we’re building the Outbound app. It’s your little outdoor inspiration machine. It features all of the best things to climb on, jump into, trip over, chill by, paddle into, roll on, soak in, and explore with friends. Handcrafted by us to keep you outside until the street lights come on.

Use Outbound to:

Update: Hey thanks for the update! The map updates when I pan but after panning I am unable to select the point to see details. In my home area it works but after panning it breaks. I touch the screen to select the dot but the map just reloads. Original review: I was excited for this app after using a friend's iPhone. For some reason the 'search this area' function isn't available for Android and I only see about 75% of the results she was getting The results I do get are awsome though.

Awesome content but I am so tired of the login logout thing not working right. Everytime I open the app it will ask me to login again. No. Keep me logged in. (it also didnt ask me to confirm my password when i signed up, sketch and i tried to use the fb login, it said it worked but then just sat on the page doing nothing, i gave up) Content kept yall from a 3 star.

Love that I can find things to do outdoors whenever I want:) being in nature is my therapy haha I would give five stars but I wish that we could make more wish lists under different titles and it would be nice if we could single out water features in our search. These two things would make it five stars for me.
