Function Key Row is a simple keyboard that only has the function keys (F1-F12) found on a standard keyboard.
It is especially useful when paired with a terminal app such as Termux which offers some additional in-app keys for terminal interaction, but does not have support for function keys without using obscure and inconvenient key combinations.

Retract my statement after redoing the install again. Works without restarting your phone as you said. Only problem I had was pulling up the keyboard without a search bar. Edit 2: Meaning if you hit the search bar the keyboard comes up right away. But if I wasn't ti use without hitting the search bar then there's no way for me to make it popup.

Hello Carlos,
Unfortunately, the keyboard not popping up unless a text input field is selected is a limitation of the way Android is designed. I could implement a workaround for this, but unfortunately, the workaround would require a persistent notification to be displayed.

Besides the annoying banner ad on the bottom of the keyboard, it works flawlessly on chrome remote desktop. 5 stars cuz it does what it's intended without issues (even with the ads)

Thank you for the feedback! If you want to remove the ad at the bottom, you can purchase a license from within the app that will permanently disable it.

Works for CATS, an old DOS based crew management system for railroads, I think it started on the Santa Fe (BNSF), we use at CN RR. We need the function keys to navigate the menus (F3 is exit for example). Previous app, fkeys, went full scam mode
