Ratings and reviews

I generally have enjoyed the interface of the app, but in the last few days, I've been unable to login to my account on the app. I can enter my email, and it tells me that it's sending me an email. I receive the email and visit the link, but it sends me to the website (this has since been fixed). One thing that applies to both the app and the website, is the inability to view The-Race live hub without third party cookies enabled. Very much not a fan of this, so I can't see the live hub now 🤷‍♂️

Overall I like the app, especially its option to personalise my feed. There are too many obtrusive ads though (the How video clip keeps messing with the layout every time it pops up while scrolling through an article) and with the latest changes in the login procedure I cannot even get into the app -- after having provided my email, the link I get sent opens the app but then it crashes and when I open the app it shows the login screen again :-/

My snap judgement was that the app is OK as it's just a wrapper for the web page. WRONG! The app makes the experience infinitely worse. You wait longer for the page to load for an identical experience. If your screen locks mid-article it reloads all over again when you unlock - AWFUL! Also bring the podcasts into the app, not just a link to the Apple page - other companies exist! (secret sponsorship you're not being open about?). I'll try again after updates but back to Chrome for me.
