Plan your journey with a clearer view of the weather ahead.

ThereCast helps you check the forecast for your destination while using Google Maps. Share a destination with ThereCast or use the optional Maps Bubble to access weather information without repeating the same search in another app.

Choose where you are going, enter your travel dates, and review the expected conditions during your stay. ThereCast brings destination forecasts, saved trips, preparation suggestions, and weather updates together in a compact interface.

DESTINATION WEATHER WITH GOOGLE MAPS

Find a place in Google Maps, tap Share, and select ThereCast. The app identifies the shared destination and displays its forecast.

You can also enable the optional Maps Bubble to check destination conditions while remaining in Google Maps. The floating card provides quick access, contains no advertisements, and can be closed whenever you want.

PLAN AROUND THE CONDITIONS

ThereCast focuses on the weather where you are going, not only where you currently are. Add arrival and departure dates to prepare for holidays, business travel, road journeys, outdoor activities, family visits, and day trips.

WEATHER INFORMATION AT A GLANCE

Review useful information for your selected destination:

• Daily forecasts
• Temperature and feels-like temperature
• Probability of rain
• Humidity and wind conditions
• Forecast confidence
• Last successful update time
• Practical packing suggestions

Refresh a trip forecast manually when you need newer information. ThereCast keeps the previous forecast available if a refresh cannot be completed.

AUTOMATIC WEATHER UPDATES

Choose how often ThereCast checks active and upcoming trips:

• Off
• Every 12 hours
• Every 24 hours
• Every 2 days

Background updates are battery-conscious. Android may adjust their timing according to network availability, battery conditions, and system restrictions.

SAVE AND MONITOR TRIPS

Save an upcoming trip and return to its forecast whenever needed. Free users can maintain one active upcoming trip at a time.

ThereCast Premium provides unlimited active trips and removes advertisements. Premium is available as a one-time purchase and includes an option to restore an existing purchase.

A PERSONAL WEATHER EXPERIENCE

Subtle weather-based colors reflect the conditions at the destination you are viewing. Clear, cloudy, rainy, snowy, and stormy conditions receive distinct color treatments while text and cards remain readable.

You can disable weather-based colors in the settings and return to the standard ThereCast appearance.

LANGUAGE AND UNIT OPTIONS

ThereCast supports:

• English
• Turkish
• System language selection
• Celsius and Fahrenheit
• Multiple wind speed units

English is used by default unless you select Turkish or choose to follow your device language.

PRIVACY AND CONTROL

The Maps Bubble is optional and appears only after you enable it. A persistent Android notification is shown while the related foreground service is active. You can disable the feature from settings or close the active overlay.

ThereCast does not use the Maps Bubble for hidden location tracking.

IMPORTANT FORECAST INFORMATION

Forecasts are estimates based on information received from online weather services. Conditions may change as your travel date approaches. Always check current local conditions and official warnings before making safety-critical travel decisions.
