DuskCast is an atmospheric arcade flight game about a bat hunting moths in a pitch-black cave at dusk. You cannot see the cave - but sound can. Fire echolocation pings to send glowing sonar rings through the dark, revealing walls, stalactites, vines and owls as fading white outlines. A free auto-pulse fires every second; tap for extra pings when you dare to spend the energy.
Simple one-finger control: hold to climb, release to dive. Eat moths and fireflies to score and to refill the energy and stamina that keep you airborne. Grab hearts, energy fruit and sonar orbs that grant free pings for five seconds. Beware the owls - they hunt the sound of your own pings.
Features:
- 12 hand-tuned cave zones: longer flights, tighter gaps, denser and moving obstacles
- 4 obstacle types: stalactites, rock pillars, swinging vines and ping-hunting owls
- 3 pickups: hearts, energy fruit and sonar orbs
- 4 upgrade tracks: sonar radius, ping recharge, extra hearts and moth magnet
- A striking black-and-sonar visual style with a warm dusk glow at the cave entrance
- Fully synthesized retro sound effects, offline play, progress saved locally
How deep into the dark can you fly?
Fly blind. Ping loud. A bat, a dark cave, and the sound that lights the way.
