About this app

Media Player by VOBOT is a fast, clean, offline-first media player for Android. It automatically finds all your music and videos stored on your device — from your Downloads folder to your Music, Movies, and DCIM libraries — and organises them into a beautiful library you can browse and play instantly, without any internet connection.

KEY FEATURES

🎵 Universal Audio Support
Play MP3, FLAC, AAC, OGG, OPUS, WAV, WMA, M4A, ALAC, APE, and dozens more audio formats. Your entire music collection, all in one place.

🎬 Full Video Playback
Supports MP4, MKV, AVI, MOV, WEBM, HEVC, H.265, TS, and virtually every common video codec. Watch films, saved reels, downloaded lectures — anything you've stored locally.

📁 Smart Library
Your media is sorted into Songs, Videos, Albums, Artists, and Folders tabs — automatically prioritised by what you have the most of. No manual setup required.

🔍 Complete Media Discovery
Media Player by VOBOT uses Android's built-in media index to discover all your audio and video files — including those in Downloads, Music, DCIM, and Movies — without needing access to non-media files. It also respects .nomedia folders and never surfaces deleted or trashed files.

📂 Open With & Share To
Set Media Player by VOBOT as your default player. Open audio and video files directly from your file manager, messaging apps, or email attachments. Files shared to the app are instantly added to your library and ready to play.

🎛 Built-in Equalizer
Fine-tune your sound with a multi-band equalizer, bass boost, virtualizer, and built-in presets — all optimised for Android's native audio stack.

▶ Background Playback
Music keeps playing when your screen turns off or you switch apps. Full media notification with controls, lock-screen integration, and Bluetooth/headset button support.

📌 Playlists & Favourites
Create playlists, mark favourites, and browse your history. The home screen highlights recently added, recently played, and most-played media so what matters most is always one tap away.

⏩ Speed & Subtitle Controls (Video)
Adjust playback speed from 0.25× to 2×, load external subtitles (SRT, VTT, ASS), swipe to seek, and pinch to control brightness and volume — all with smooth, responsive gesture controls.

🌗 Light & Dark Mode
Switch between dark, light, or follow-system themes from Settings.

🔒 100% Offline & Private
Media Player by VOBOT never connects to the internet for media playback. No analytics, no ads, no account required. Your media stays on your device.

📲 Completely Free
No subscriptions, no paywalls, no premium tiers. Everything you see is free.
