This web-based app supports full-time and voluntary professionals in cases of sexualised violence by young people on young people. The app connects
1. clearly prepared (background) information on the topic
2. Material directly applicable to work with young people and
3. A “First Aid” function that accompanies professionals during the intervention.
The app is of course GDPR compliant.
In the long term, the app will serve as a first introduction to the subject of sexualized violence by young people against young people. It represents a kind of mini basic training. The users, e.g. teachers, educators, but also volunteers in sports or other clubs should be able to use the app to filter technically correct information, find advice centers and contact them directly.
The app offers support with the first steps to take if there is suspicion or knowledge of sexualized violence among young people, how such a case can be accompanied and documented in the best possible way and shows the way to the help system.
This means that the app offers prepared basic knowledge, guidelines for discussions with young people and parents, material for working with young people and a first-aid function. If professionals are confronted with a case of sexualized violence among young people, they are forwarded via the first aid to the abuse help portal and the affiliated help line. Furthermore, specialized advice centers in the vicinity can be displayed via an interface to the help portal. In this way, regional networks are additionally strengthened.
At the same time, this app also provides an interface to #UNDDU? online portal. There, the specialists can book further training courses, be trained as trainers and, if they have the appropriate qualifications, post their own offers on the subject.
