REWRITE WHERE YOU TYPE
Draft a message, then open ThinkType's AI panel from the keyboard. Make your wording more formal or casual, shorten a paragraph, expand an idea or check grammar. Review the result before choosing Replace or Insert. The AI tools use your selection or the current paragraph.

START WITH A TEMPLATE
Choose a writing action from the keyboard's template chips, or browse Explore for more templates. Find prompts for everyday replies, professional writing and new ideas.

THINK IT THROUGH IN CHAT
Open the app to ask a question, brainstorm or work on a draft with the AI assistant. Keep the conversation going with follow-up questions and copy a reply when you're ready to use it.

ENGLISH AND SPANISH, YOUR WAY
Enable English, Spanish or both, and switch languages from the keyboard. Choose a keyboard theme and adjust vibration, key sounds, auto-correction and other typing settings. The app supports light and dark appearance.

BOUNDARIES FOR SENSITIVE FIELDS
ThinkType hides AI entry points in password fields and fields marked as incognito by the host app. In those fields, the keyboard does not read surrounding text or learn words. AI writing and chat use online services, so an internet connection is required for those features.

Enable ThinkType in Android's keyboard settings, select it as your keyboard and try it in a text field. AI availability is subject to usage limits. Always review AI suggestions before using them.

Ratings and reviews

AI is powerful, and the keys are more responsive than Gboard's. But the autocorrect is atrocious. I waste more time correcting them than I would just correcting my typos. And even if text is selected, backspace only deletes one letter. Will use this for when I need the AI, but it would be much more convenient if it were usable as a main keyboard too. Fixing the backspace issue and an option to turn autocorrect off is all it would take to make that a reality.

The recent update completely ruined the app. All of my carefully customized prompts have gone down the drain. On top of that, the app gave me the cold shoulder when I tried to log in with my Google account as it displayed a message saying 'Access blocked: ThinkType has not completed the Google verification process'. Please fix this issue immediately; otherwise, I might consider cancelling my subscription.

I recently started using ThinkType, an AI keyboard, and I'm really impressed with it. It's definitely a five-star keyboard in my opinion. I've also tried other AI keyboards like Paragraph AI, Writely, CleverType, and Open Keyboard AI, which are all highly rated but expensive. However, ThinkType has exceeded my expectations with its affordable price and all the features of those keyboards. Although it has some bugs as a new product, the developers are quick to fix them. I highly recommend
