Works on R7000 blackhawk router Last update started crashing frequently (prev gave 5*), I have my 2TB drive hooked up to the router which I can access through WiFi. This is a good resource for my many language learning sound files which I can select and listen to anywhere in the house without having to put them on the phone first. And if going out of WiFi range it is quick 2 click to copy playlist to phone
Works OK on kitkat Does not see sdcard. Used folder mount to correct access to sdcard. Throws gap between gapless tracks. Other than that, streams well. I like music organization and playlist control.
serves the purpose, but at a cost... This app is great in that it plays from NAS drives, but I'm noticing that the tail of every file played gets cut off. I verified this by going to one of my PC's and playing the same file. Tails play fine. Fix this and it's worth the 5th star...
Plays Samba shares easily This is one of the few ways you can play your Samba shared music on Amazon Echo. It needs a way to save a playlist text file so one doesn't have to setup a playlist each time you want to play.
Ok As everyone says, make ui more friendly and implement dlna/upnp remote play and receive (ie. Android to àndroid in a car, if you can a Bluetooth sink preferably - you will have tons of downloads then). Bluetooth does not solve anything as we need DLNA for remote Android playback which has no receiver stack for Bluetooth. DLNA is only choice for car Android.
Simplistic and functional I really love this. I can stream music from my NAS anywhere in the house
