About this game
Cube Solver: Scan and Learn helps you solve a scrambled 3x3 puzzle cube, and then teaches you how to do it on your own. Point your phone camera at each face, or tap in the colors, and the cube solver shows you every move on a 3D cube you can follow along with.
Maybe the cube has been sitting on a shelf for years. Maybe you are halfway through and stuck. Either way, you can have it solved in a few minutes.
How to use it:
Hold your cube with the white center on top and green facing you.
Tap Solve, then scan each face with the camera or tap in the colors.
Check the colors and tap any sticker that looks wrong.
Choose Shortest or Beginner.
Follow the moves on the 3D cube until every side matches.
Features:

Show each face to the camera and the app reads the colors for you. It takes about 30 seconds, and there is a light button for dim rooms.
Tap in the colors
No camera handy? Paint a flat map of your cube with your finger instead. It works anywhere.
Mistake checker
If a sticker is wrong, the app tells you what looks off, such as a flipped edge, a twisted corner or a color with too many stickers, so you can fix it before solving.
Two ways to solve
Shortest gives you a solution of around 20 moves. Beginner solves it layer by layer, with each stage named and a short tip, so you understand what your hands are doing.
Follow along at your pace
Step forward and back one move at a time, jump to any move, or press play and watch the 3D cube turn.
Learn from zero
The Beginner course has 29 short lessons, starting with your very first turn and ending with a full solve. Every lesson gives you real cube positions to practice on.
Go faster with CFOP
When you finish Beginner, the CFOP course opens. It covers pairs (F2L), the last layer cross and corners (OLL) and the final swaps (PLL), the method speedcubers use.
Daily puzzle
A fresh puzzle every day. Solve it within par for 3 stars, keep your streak going and copy your result to share with friends.
Practice anytime
Play extra puzzles with undo, restart and a hint when you need a nudge.

The home screen has a 3D cube you can swipe to turn. Scramble it, mess it up, then tap Solve this to see how to fix it.
Solve without internet
The solver runs on your phone, so you can solve a cube with no connection. There is no sign up, and your stars, lessons and streak are saved on your phone. The camera is used to read the colors of your cube.
It also follows your dark mode setting, and you can turn haptics on or off.
