About this app

Script Reader is a reader for film and TV scripts. Over 2,200 scripts of films and series episodes, to read on your phone or tablet the way they were written, page by page.

READ IT LIKE PAPER
• Continuous scroll or page by page, with the page number and the screen time left
• Normal, sepia and dark themes, without touching the script
• Two pages side by side on tablets and wide screens
• Named bookmarks and freehand notes (pen and highlighter)
• Search inside the script (Android 15 or newer)
• Keep the screen on and turn pages with the volume keys, if you like
• The script opens right away and is never stored on your device

FIND WHAT TO READ
• Search by title, even offline, with filters for films, series and decades
• Browse by genre, studio, writer and decade
• People: the scripts of every writer and director, with what else they wrote
• Series with the seasons and episodes that have a script

THE FILM BEFORE THE SCRIPT
• Synopsis, credits, cast and who wrote it, with data from TMDB
• Original or adapted screenplay, pages, runtime and minutes per page

AWARDS AND LISTS
• The award-winning scripts of the Oscars, Golden Globes, BAFTA, Critics Choice, Spirit and Cannes, year by year, with the nominees
• The history of every screenplay category
• Lists: 1001 Movies You Must See Before You Die, the WGA 101 screenplays and 101 series, the Black List and award-winning first scripts
• In every list, what has a script and what you already read

YOUR LIBRARY
• Favorites, reading and read, with the progress of each script
• Pick up where you left off
• History of the last scripts you opened
• Follow writers, directors and studios

PRIVACY
• No account and no server: favorites, progress, bookmarks and notes stay on your device
• Erase everything whenever you want, in Settings

ACCESSIBILITY

• Dark theme by default, light or follow the system
• English, Portuguese and Spanish

The scripts are publicly available on the internet, and some are hosted by Script Slug. The app only displays the file for personal reading and is not affiliated with Script Slug. This product uses the TMDB API but is not endorsed or certified by TMDB.
