About this app

“GNET” is the program which enables users to easily watch the real-time video and recorded data of Janus Echo on a smart phone in Wi-Fi.
In accordance with the settings of the car DVR, users can enjoy the Full HD 1080P(1920*1080) video or HD 720P(1280*720) video.
Users can watch a front camera view or an external camera view and save each video screenshot in the smart phone on “ GNET“ program.
Also, users can change the setting value of Car DVR and check whether Car DVR normally operates or not and each direction of a front view camera and an external camera is correctly made on “ GNET” program.

When I first tried to connect, I got an error message stating "Authentication failed: this is an unauthorized dash cam and cancel connection accordingly". I tried everything. Even tried turning off mobile data. Same problem. Then I tried changing my system language from English to Korean and it finally connected. I do not want to change my system language just to use this app. I was hoping I could just change the language for the app, but this app doesn't support it.

This user experience of this app is abismal, gets stuck on the logo screen more often than not, can only connect live to the camera when you're sitting inside the car which is absolutely pointless and the saved video search is terrible, no filters just scroll back through 48 hours of different footage. The only good thing so far is no ads but that's a very low bar when you're paying $1500 for the camera. DO NOT recommend

Just purchased a brand new car and had dash cam installed only to realise the app doesn't stay connected and can't access the camera anywhere, anytime. What's the point of even having this when it doesn't even work or stay connected. I have to constantly press the wifi button on my dashcam for it to connect to the app and then it disconnects when I leave the car... seriously pointless. Useless app, especially for the price of the dashcams! If I could give no stars I would.
