IROAD Smart Manager is an application that allows you to easily view real-time front and rear footage, as well as saved videos from your IROAD dashcam via Wi-Fi.

Main Features

Live View: Check the real-time front and rear camera footage

Playback & Backup: Play and back up recorded videos

Settings: Resolution, frame rate, time, sensitivity, low-voltage cut-off, etc.

Firmware Update: Automatically update to the latest firmware and software

Real-time video is limited to 15 FPS, which may cause choppy playback. For clearer quality, please download the video or use the PC viewer.

Viewing real-time footage while driving may cause dangerous situations. The connection will automatically disconnect after a period of inactivity for safe driving.

(Video download function will be limited if denied, but the app remains usable.)

(Only the call function is restricted if denied; the app remains usable.)

Ratings and reviews

Lousy app. user connected ..user disconnected ... user connected ... user disconnected (keep connecting and disconnecting within 1sec) after attempting 10min. still disconnect within one second after it was connected.

The update last week fixed the issue that made it impossible to connect without turning off phone data, but introduced a new issue where any time you try to view recorded video, the app crashes instantly. I was very happy to discover I paid 650AUD for a car ornament, especially after a ute reversed over the top of my hood and then drove off. If you're thinking about buying one of these, don't. Get something from a company that tests their updates before they push them.

It is almost impossible to connect to the app if mobile data is on and while the connection to the app is a breeze when mobile data is off, I wonder how can the firmware be updated should new ones be rolled out when the user is unable to connect to data. During playback on mobile, attempts to maximise the display by clicking on the bottom right hand corner icon will crash the app. It is important to be able to view large image on the mobile phone but now impossible to do so. Unbelievable!
