Bloody Bastards is a physics-based medieval fighting game where you fight against your bastard brothers.

Destroy your enemies by using an arsenal of daggers, axes, swords, maces and hammers in the arena of champions.

In a unique blend of pixel art, 2D physics and ragdoll mechanics, Bloody Bastards offers a fighting experience like nothing else. Tap and hold on either side of the screen to control each hand individually and double tap to move. Choose from hundreds of different weapons, shields, body, leg and head gear to create thousands of lethal combinations.

Cool mechanics, but it gets boring after a while. The multiplayer mode seems useless, even after playing quite a while, I only get matched with extremely powerful players, I've never been high enough level to play multiplayer even though I've completed about 150 levels. The progression system is a little weird too, you basically start over in each of the different locations even though your character is very strong. so you have to play dozens and dozens of trivial to win matches to progress.

The historical vibe of this game of the old time axes hammer and daggers as weapons are awesome, you also get a tutorial at the start unlike some games. There is a a lot of gore. Although, you get to customize you're character and it's name, height, weight, and clothes. There's almost little to no more than 1 or 2 pay to win making the game fun. There's also 1v1 against people. Unfortunately, it's available with passwords, and they have to have the same wifi. Items cost money though.

Uninstalled this game for a bit to free up space. Turns out the game doesn't like saving your progress, since it wiped over 400-500 levels of progress. I tried to reach out and contact the devs and got radio silence. I really liked this game, too. What a shame. I hope the devs fix this problem, since it's detrimental to gameplay or someone switching devices. EDIT: Also if you're using controller, if you buy no ads, you'll still get them. More, actually. 3 in a row without skipping. Pathetic.
