About this app

Ticket Releases is the gate check-in app for event staff. Scan a ticket, get
an instant verdict, and keep the queue moving — with or without a network
connection.

BUILT FOR THE GATE, NOT THE OFFICE
Download the full ticket list before doors open and the app runs entirely
from the device. Every scan is answered from local storage in milliseconds,
so weak signal at the turnstile never slows the line. Check-ins queue
automatically and upload themselves the moment connectivity returns.

WHAT YOU CAN DO
• Scan tickets using the handheld's hardware trigger — no aiming at a screen
• Get an instant, colour-coded result: Valid, Already Used, or Invalid
• See ticket number, type, order reference, attendee name, event and gate on
every scan
• Scan continuously — pull the trigger again and the next result replaces the
last, with changed details highlighted so nothing is missed
• Distinct audio and vibration feedback for each outcome, so staff can work by
ear in a busy crowd
• Look up guests by name, email, phone or order reference when a code will not
scan
• Check in a whole order at once, or just selected tickets from it
• Switch between gates without signing out

OFFLINE-FIRST BY DESIGN
Poor connectivity is normal at outdoor and rural venues, so the app never
depends on it. Scans are recorded locally and synced in the background. The
home screen always shows live connection status, how many check-ins are
waiting to upload, and when the device last synced — so a gate lead can see at
a glance whether the device is up to date.

DESIGNED FOR RUGGED HANDHELDS
Optimised for Zebra handheld barcode scanners using the device's built-in
laser or imager. Large, high-contrast targets suit gloved hands and bright
daylight.

ACCESS
Ticket Releases is a staff tool. It requires an account issued by your event
organiser — there is no public sign-up. Contact your event organiser if you
need access.

PRIVACY
Ticket and attendee data is stored in the app's private storage on the device
