What better way to exercise reading and text comprehension skills than by playing? The Ticmas Reading Fluency and Comprehension app is an ideal space for students in the first years of the school year to improve their ability to read, acquire comprehension skills and test the knowledge learned in the classroom while playing to transmit content through channels digital.
Each user will have access to super fun themes such as sports, food, technology or detectives. In them, they will be able to review educational content while increasing their ability to read and understand texts emulating a live broadcast.
There are riddles, texts to complete and questions to answer, as well as reading practices in which feedback will be given so that each user knows how well what they did was. As you progress in each theme, you will level up. At the end of everything you reach the most advanced step as a streamer!
It is important to clarify that the application proposes a gamification dynamic where each user plays a character that broadcasts live through social networks, but such transmission will not exist in real terms but will be an emulation. On the other hand, nothing that users read will be saved or published in any media or under any circumstances. The recordings (which only include audio) are intended for an artificial intelligence engine to evaluate whether the reading was correct, always respecting pedagogical and programmatic criteria established by specialized teachers according to the educational regulations of each country. On the other hand, the chat instances will not be real, but will be part of the exercise-solving strategy and the user will carry them out by exchanging dialogues with virtual characters.
