About this app

The Flashcard Lab app turns your Google Sheets™ into flashcards to help you study anything from graduate entrance exams to new languages using randomized, customizable virtual flashcards. You can use Flashcard Lab to study for anything from the GREs, SATs, MCATs, GMATs, to new languages like Spanish and Korean.

First, create a new, empty spreadsheet in the Flashcard Lab mobile app, and list your "prompts" (front of the card) in the first column, "answers" (or whatever you want on the "back of the card") in the second column. Optionally, You can also populate the 3rd and 4th columns with synonyms and mnemonics respectively. The first row of the sheet is always the headers. This row is omitted.

Then, open up the Flashcard Lab mobile app, sign in with your Google™ account, select the spreadsheet you just made, and start reviewing!

Ratings and reviews

This lets me combine my two favorite things. Flashcards and spreadsheets! And the pro version is just a 1 time purchase of $10, which I think is worthwhile. The only complaint I have is about the app itself. I had the browser extension, which allows you to put links in the mnemonic section - which is great for learning things like sign language, where a visual is really important, and pictures don't always cut it. But when I opened it in the app, I couldn't even copy the links. Consider adding?

Outstanding app. It makes it to page one of my phone. I am able to build flashcards on the Google Sheets and use the on this mobile app. Building the flash cards on Google sheets is more involved than some other simple flashcard apps but you have much more control and flexibility. Adding images to the cards is fairly easy once you get used to the customizations. The integration between sheets and the mobile app is excellent. I am using this for IT studies and could not be happier with the app.

I can't recommend this app enough if you are looking for flashcards. so easy to use and makes studying and learning almost effortless.
