The official app for Edinburgh Festival Fringe 2025. Find Fringe shows using search. View show details, maps and venue information. Book and access e-tickets in the app. Be notified when your shows are about to start. ‘Nearby now’ helps you find shows near your location that are starting soon. Use ‘My planner’ to save your favourites and access your tickets. Feeling lucky? Shake your phone for a random show suggestion. Unleash your Fringe!

Ratings and reviews

The app is preoccupied with the internet connection. When it decides that the connection is gone, it quits working. This happens half of the time when you access the app, even though the connection is fine. Even when the app opens OK, it commonly loses all my booked shows. When you uninstall it and reinstall, the shows may come back. What a disrespect for the Festival customers!

Edit after using a bit: Lags when searching - almost like it's setting up to do your query. Also needs a filter option to find shows which still have tickets available / hide sold out shows. The team have updated the app - it's no longer the monstrosity that garnered the old reviews! Personally I'd have made a new listing as I didn't bother downloading it until I saw someone using the new, improved version! I can filter by date, time, genre etc. All of the functionality now exits.

Would be 5 star but it doesn't show the 2 buttons on the whole of the buttons on the bottom of booking details one of which is the venue map. This is true of my and my husband's Android phones which are different. Otherwise excellent. Bought tickets automatically added to your planner. There is a directions button to get you from one gig to the next. The sesrch criteria are good too.
