About this app

WorkFlow is the time clock that notices by itself when you are at work: it tracks your work hours automatically by GPS, keeps your overtime balance and creates your monthly timesheet as a PDF. Your hours stay on your phone.

Made for employees on flextime or trust-based hours who want their own record of their work hours, not for teams, projects or invoicing.

Your work hours at a glance
• Create a monthly timesheet as a PDF with your name, employer and signature fields. Export reports for a chosen period as PDF or CSV.
• Keep an eye on overtime, minus hours and your flextime balance: set your expected hours for each weekday and a starting balance.
• Compare recorded hours with your daily target. View weekly, monthly and yearly reports, every single entry and your balance.
• Enter vacation, sick days and public holidays as special days; they lower your target.
• When working from home, clock in manually or add your hours later; your usual daily target still applies.
• Clock in and out manually like a punch clock, check the running timer or pause automatic tracking at any time.
• Add missing entries and edit any day. Corrections are logged, and you can lock days.

How the automation works
Add up to 5 workplaces on the map, such as your office or a client site, each with its own radius.
Automatic clock-in and clock-out need location access set to "Allow all the time"; without it you can still save the workplace and clock in manually.
Detection runs on Android geofencing, even when the app is closed and after a phone restart. You are clocked in once you have been inside the radius for 5 minutes.
Power saving on Android and on some phones can delay or suppress events; WorkFlow warns you about known issues and shows you the settings that help. Review your entries and correct them when needed.

Location and data
Your work hours and reports are stored on your device: no account, no cloud, no WorkFlow server, no analytics. For the automation, WorkFlow uses your location in the background, compares it only with your workplaces and records no routes. The app needs the internet only for maps and address searches through OpenStreetMap when you set up or edit a workplace. Exports and backups leave your phone only when you share them yourself.

Free, with no in-app purchases and no subscription. Includes a home screen widget and dark mode, in English and German. Back up your data as JSON and restore it when switching phones.

What’s new

The balance now counts settled days only ("as of yesterday"). It used to credit today's hours while withholding today's target, so it read too high all day and corrected itself at midnight. It may look lower after this update; no data is lost.

Year view: the month bars now show their target, like the week and month charts.

Fixed: a session could be booked twice on check-out. Presence can no longer exceed the day's span.
