Tim Imposter is a pass-the-phone party game for 3 or more friends. Everyone except the imposter sees the same secret word. The imposter has to bluff, blend in and avoid getting caught. Can your group find them?
ONE PHONE, NO ACCOUNT
Pass a single phone around the table. No sign-up, no lobby codes, no extra devices. The whole game runs on the phone you already have, and a round plays without an internet connection.
HOW A ROUND WORKS
1. Add at least 3 players.
2. Each player takes the phone in turn and privately sees their role.
3. Everyone describes the secret word without saying it. A speaking order and a discussion timer keep things moving.
4. Players vote in secret, one at a time.
5. The result reveals the word, the imposters and the points for the round.
GAME MODES
- Classic: standard rules and a 3 minute discussion.
- Fast: a short 1 minute discussion for quick rounds.
- No Hint: imposters never see the word or a category.
- Undercover: imposters get a similar word and do not know they are imposters.
TWISTS THAT KEEP IT FRESH
- Choose how many imposters are hiding among you.
- Caught imposters get a last chance. If they guess the secret word, they steal the win.
- Don't know the word? Ask for a new one while your role is shown.
- Imposter hints: none, the category, or a related word.
- Play a match of 3, 5 or 7 rounds and crown a winner.
WORDS FOR EVERY GROUP
- 12 ready-made word packs with 50+ words each, from food and animals to movies, music, sports and travel.
- Build your own packs with an emoji and as many words as you like.
- Mark a favorite pack and start playing in one tap.
SCOREBOARD AND SHARING
- A persistent leaderboard tracks wins and points between games.
- Share a result card with your group chat after each round.
MADE FOR PARTIES
- 11 languages: English, Turkish, Spanish, French, Portuguese, Russian, Chinese, Hindi, Bengali, Arabic and Urdu, with right-to-left support.
- Sound effects and haptics for reveals, votes and the final countdown.
FREE WITH ADS, OR PREMIUM
The game is free and shows an ad between games. Tim Imposter Premium is an optional weekly, monthly or yearly subscription that removes the ads and unlocks every game mode and word pack. Locked modes and packs can be tried for free a few times. The subscription renews automatically until you cancel it in Google Play.
PRIVACY
Player names, words and votes stay on your device. The app uses Firebase for anonymous usage statistics and crash reports, and Unity Ads to show ads; in the EU/EEA, the UK and Switzerland it asks before ads are personalized. Read the privacy policy from the Privacy & Terms screen in the app.
