Timing (טיימינג) is an appointment booking app for small service businesses in Israel: barber shops, beauticians, nail technicians, brow and lash artists, personal trainers, therapists and clinics. Clients book on their own from your booking page, and you run the calendar and clients from one app, in Hebrew or English, on Android and the web.
Who it is for
• Barber shops: clients see your open times and pick one. With a team (up to 2 people from the Professional plan, up to 5 on Premium) each barber has their own working hours, and you filter the shared calendar by barber.
• Beauticians, nail technicians, brows and lashes: from the Basic plan, an automatic WhatsApp reminder goes out before every appointment, at a preset time you choose, from 15 minutes to 72 hours before. From the Professional plan you can send a client a form or health declaration before the treatment.
• Personal trainers and studios: group classes with a participant limit per class, and progress (KPI) tracking for each client, both on the Premium plan.
• Therapists, massage and physiotherapy: client cards with appointment history and notes the client never sees, and recurring appointments, on every plan.
What the app does
• A booking page for your business with your services, prices and open times, to share on WhatsApp, Instagram or your website. You choose whether a new booking is confirmed at once or waits for your approval (every plan).
• An appointment calendar with day, week and month views: drag an appointment to move it, set working hours, block time and close on holidays (every plan).
• Automatic WhatsApp reminders from the Basic plan; on Premium you can add a second reminder.
• Arrival confirmations from the Professional plan: once you switch them on, the reminder carries a confirm button, and an appointment the client confirmed is marked in the calendar and the bookings list. A group class (Premium plan) gets a reminder without buttons.
• A waiting list from the Professional plan, off until you turn it on: when a slot opens, the first request on the list that fits it is booked automatically or held for your approval.
• A team from the Professional plan (up to 2 people including the owner, up to 5 on Premium): one shared calendar with a team-member filter, working hours for each person, and the option to limit a team member to their own appointments.
• Appointments go into Google Calendar on every plan; from the Professional plan, events in your Google Calendar can also block time in Timing.
• Custom forms such as a health declaration from the Professional plan, and punch cards for clients from the Professional plan (opening to businesses gradually).
• Group classes and invoices on the Premium plan.
• Statistics on every plan: revenue against the previous period, each service's share of bookings, new clients, peak hours and cancellations. CSV exports of your clients and bookings on every plan, and an accountant report (PDF) from the Professional plan.
• Marketing SMS to clients who agreed to receive them, from the Basic plan (300 a month), once Timing approves the business to send.
• An in-app assistant that answers questions about using the app, and support at support@timingapps.com.
What it costs
The Free plan: up to 15 appointments a month for one person, with no WhatsApp or SMS reminders. Paid plans: Basic, Professional and Premium. The first business you create gets a one-time 14-day Premium trial, no credit card needed, and then moves to the Free plan automatically, with no charge. A subscription bought in the app is billed by Google at Google Play prices.
