About this app
TIMLAR is a personal safety app for the people who love you.
Start a safety session and the people you trust can follow along from a secure link. They don't need to install anything or create an account. Your location is shared only while the session is open, and sharing stops when you end it.
HOW IT WORKS
• Session-based: you start and end each session. TIMLAR is not an always-on tracker.
• Choose your trusted people. They open the link and see your journey as it happens.
• They can reply "seen" so you know someone is with you.
• Clear status levels: Monitoring, Concern, Distress and Emergency, each shown plainly.
• Honest about connection: stale, offline or degraded location is always shown as such, never presented as live.
• Core safety features are free.
BUILT WITH PRIVACY IN MIND
• You choose your trusted people and control when sharing happens.
• Trusted people don't need an app or an account.
• Available in English, Spanish, Italian, French and German.
TIMLAR does not contact emergency services. In an emergency, call your local emergency number (112 in the EU, 999 in the UK and Ireland).
