I like what they're trying to do, but removing chart features and therefore losing what row I'm on in the chart was spectacularly short sighted. Currently I just don't think the version app just launched is ready for primetime. Lots of time spent showing me what they think I should love about the new app, but at what cost. Maybe it's there in the paid version, but I'm a little afraid of throwing good money after bad. I was one of the backers when they came out with their first app.

Hi - Sorry for the hassle! In order to bring all 200+ patterns into the app it was necessary for us to simplify and adjust the format we used to present the patterns with. And FYI you never have to pay to use the app - you can use it freely, with all the features, forever - the ONLY limitation is the number of projects you can store.

This is the most under rated app! Simple to use, just pick your project, size and modifications that are offered (like sleeve length). There's links to stitch definitions and technique how-tos. It even saves your current WIPs and what brand/type/color of yarn you're using! The only thing that could make this app any better is adding a row counter.

I love this app! Great knitting patterns with clear instructions, put in your yarn size and size you are making, it becomes a pattern specific to your project, no need to worry about keeping track of stitch counts and more. I'd like an easier way to mark where in the pattern you are, and more patterns available for the app, but I know with time it will only get better. Highly recommend!
