The app #stadttsache makes children and adolescents visible as city experts and sensitizes their perception of the built environment.
With the support of the state initiative StadtBauKultur NRW 2020, the renowned author of children's books Anke M. Leitzgen based on her book "Discover Your City" (with Lisa Rienermann at Beltz & Gelberg) made the city contemporary: #stadttsache is cross-media and linked to discover the analogue city with digital research and documentation.
Highlights of the app developed by Bruno Jennrich:
#stadttsache is a tool for thematically collecting photos, sounds, videos, recording paths and counting things.
The results can be assigned to specific tasks and actions.
The photos can be set to music, scaled, labeled, painted, commented.
The collections can be private or shared with other users of the app.
Low language and writing skills in German are no obstacle due to the image-oriented structure.
Creative, action-bound, intuitive.
For the app there is the workbook "Now I discover my city: go out and get started" (with Anne Lachmuth) at Beltz & Gelberg. More information and an excerpt as a free download at www.stadtsache.de.
It is possible to start your own groups with their own questions, orders and actions. If you have questions about the app or need support, we look forward to receiving an email: hello@stadtsache.de.
