TipSplit is a tip calculator and bill splitter for two situations: splitting a bill evenly among a group, and splitting it fairly when everyone ordered something different. Enter the bill total, pick a tip percentage, set the number of people, and TipSplit instantly divides the total — no more doing the math on a napkin.

For nights out where everyone ordered their own thing, switch to Itemized mode: each person enters what they personally ordered, and TipSplit works out tax and tip proportionally based on each person's share of the subtotal, so nobody pays more tip just because someone else at the table got the steak. A live SplitPie donut chart shows each person's share of the total as you type, updating in real time.

The core selling point is exactness: every per-person amount is reconciled with a largest-remainder algorithm, so the displayed shares always add up to the real total to the penny — never a cent short or over, so there's no more arguing about who owes the extra penny.

Every split can be saved to a History for later reference, and a Stats screen tracks total spent, average tip percentage, and spending trends over time.
