About this game

Backgammon is the classic dice race for two players: fifteen checkers each, twenty-four points and a run for home. Play the computer or a friend on the same device, with standard rules built in.

• Standard rules — two dice per turn, and doubles give you four moves
• Hit a lone checker to send it to the bar; it must re-enter before anything else moves
• Bear off once all fifteen of your checkers reach your home board
• Only legal moves are accepted, so you learn the rules just by playing
• A turn with no legal move passes automatically, with a note explaining why
• Play the AI on Easy, Normal or Hard, or pass and play with a friend
• Wins, losses and two-player games are tracked on the board screen
