About this app

PassForge generates strong random passwords and tells you how long a real attacker would need to crack them. Set the length and choose whether to include uppercase, lowercase, digits, and symbols, or exclude lookalike characters such as zero and capital O for passwords you will need to type by hand. A passphrase mode builds memorable multi word phrases with configurable separators and word counts. The strength checker scores any password you type against entropy, character variety, and common weak patterns like keyboard runs, repeated characters, and dictionary words, and shows an estimated crack time. Generated passwords are never stored or transmitted anywhere.
