SnapRedact covers up the parts of a screenshot you do not want to send. Add one or more images, mark what should be hidden, and export clean copies ready to share.

Choose the look that fits. A solid black box makes a definitive redaction, while a blur shows that something was there without revealing it.

Detection runs on-device: turn text detection and face detection on or off, choose blur or black box, then redact. Nothing is uploaded and no region is covered unless one of the two detectors actually finds something.

Work through several screenshots in one session. Each image shows its own status, so you can see at a glance what was redacted and what was skipped because nothing matched, and you can add more images without starting over.

Redaction is applied to a new copy and burned into the exported image, so the hidden areas cannot be peeled back off afterwards. All processing happens on your device, with no upload and no account.
